I found this old car in the empty lot behind Shirley’s and I thought of you and your ability to make old things new. The way you see the hidden potential in the objects around you, where most people would abandon them or throw them out. You don’t see things as they are, but as what they could be. You’ve always done that for me—by believing in my abilities. My dreams are big. But with you at my side, I feel like I could reach them.
